Children’s Pastor

Seeking a passionate and dedicated Children’s Pastor to join our pastoral team in nurturing, teaching, and inspiring children to grow in their relationship with Christ.........

This is a part-time, 2-day-a-week role focused on overseeing and developing a vibrant children’s ministry that fosters a safe, engaging, and Christ-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a volunteer team to create a nurturing, safe, and fun environment for children’s programs.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate, engaging, and effective children’s ministry programs.
• Build meaningful connections with children, volunteers, and families, promoting healthy relationships and growth.
• Collaborate with the pastoral team to align children’s ministry goals with the church’s mission and vision.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• An active, mature relationship with Christ, with a clear calling to children’s ministry and experience inleading children’s ministry.
• Proven ability to lead, equip, and motivate teams, including volunteers.
• Strong communication skills, with a gift for connecting with children and volunteers.
• Capacity to contribute to the pastoral leadership of CVC influencing the church’s children’s ministry direction.
