ReChurch is a growing, multi-cultural church serving the outer northern suburbs of Melbourne.

We began as a church plant called Roxburgh Park Community Church some 30 years ago – we’re still young. Having been in temporary facilities until the Covid years, we moved online, then relocated to a new and permanent building.

ReChurch has a strong track record of mission within our community, of generosity and compassion. The church has a strong local community profile. Our body life has developed around a clearly defined disciple-making culture which teaches, equips and encourages the proper and fruitful use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. A major ministry emphasis of healing and restoration has emerged and is one of ReChurch’s key distinictives that accompanies evangelism and mission. Many lives have been restored over the journey.

We have a strong focus on prophetic ministry that strengthens and motivates, and there is also a gifted and thriving worship ministry, and a budding youth ministry with local community connections. We own a charitable body called Compassion North Inc. (a registered Public Benefit Institution) through which we outreach to the community via a Foodbank and two well-established Men’s Sheds.

We are looking to have conversations with people who feel called by God to participate in His Kingdom work in our setting with the support and participation of a strong Eldership, a committed and passionate group of leaders and others who are settling into ReChurch as their church home.

If you submit an Expression of Interest for a further conversation you will be a person who:

• Is a passionate follower of Jesus Christ;

• Has undertaken formal theological education and leadership formation;

• Can demonstrate a resourceful and innovative leadership story of your own, as a team-leader, team-builder and as a team-player;

• Can demonstrate skills, passion and experience in personal, spiritual and leadership formation and discipleship; in communication, and in supporting and resourcing, and in listening and leading with a Godly discernment.

• Can communicate the Word of God with conviction and authority, and without compromise.
