The Opportunity
We’re seeking a fulltime External Auditor based in Sydney to support our existing and expanding Sydney client base. For the right person, this role offers the opportunity to play a meaningful part in the long term growth of our Sydney audit presence including building a Sydney based team.
Our clients are located in the city and surrounding suburbs, with most being accessible by public transport. This role suits an experienced auditor who enjoys working autonomously while being part of a collaborative, high performing and values led audit team. Most audits involve on site fieldwork during business hours, with flexibility outside peak audit periods.
You’ll work closely with Partners and supported by a strong technical, Melbourne based team. In time, we plan to hire additional Sydney based staff to work alongside you.
Although Sydney based (working remotely or from a shared workspace), you’ll also be integrated into our established Melbourne audit team. You’ll receive ongoing technical training, leadership support and professional development, while building strong relationships with Sydney based clients.
An interest in auditing not for profit organisations is highly regarded, as this is a significant and growing part of our audit practice.

• Collaborate closely with audit managers and partners in Melbourne to ensure consistency, quality and continuous improvement.
• Participate in firm wide training, technical updates and team initiatives.
• Over time, with strategic and operational support, contribute to building a Sydney based audit capability.
Success in this role is dependent on delivery of high quality audit delivery, strong client relationships and proactive collaboration with the broader audit team.
