Crossway LifeCare
Crossway LifeCare is a community transformation organisation with a vision to see people in tough places flourish emotionally, socially, economically and spiritually. We care deeply for the marginalised in society and aim to see lives transformed through holistic and integrated services. Our interlinked services and programs for individuals and families achieve significant impact for those struggling in our community. Our services include Counselling, COACH Community Mentoring, Community Engagement and Family Violence Programs.
Our staff and volunteers are Christ-centered and compassionate, working collaboratively and with integrity to help people in tough places flourish. Crossway LifeCare is faith based but not faith biased and supports people irrespective of religion, race, gender, disability or sexual orientation. We aim to model Christ-centredness, grace, compassion, trust, and integrity within our team and to others. Each staff member signs a code of conduct that reflects these values.
We offer salary packaging and flexible work arrangements.
Family Violence Programs
The purpose of Family Violence Programs is to empower victim-survivors to heal from the impacts of trauma and reclaim their sense of identity, self-worth and hope for the future. We do this through the provision of post-crisis support services, including group therapy, case management and occasional childcare. Our programs aim to provide an opportunity for participants to belong to a community of survivors, recognising the power of social connection and peer support. All services are grounded in a trauma-informed approach where participant agency, choice and empowerment are centred.

- Provide risk assessment and safety planning support to program participants in line with the MARAM Framework
- Liaise with team members to provide holistic, collaborative support to participants
- Assist in reviewing and developing program content for group therapy programs
- Refer participants to additional supports, internally and externally, as needed
