Border Rivers Christian College is seeking a caring, organised, and dedicated Learning Support Teacher to join our Christian learning community.

About the Role
The successful applicant will:
- Coordinate the College's Learning Support Team.
- Lead the QCIA program for senior secondary students.
- Coordinate data collection for NCCD purposes.
- Provide learning support for students with diverse educational needs.
- Implement and coordinate targeted intervention programs for small groups or individual students
- Teach a small secondary teaching load.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop inclusive learning strategies, monitor student progress and communicate effectively with families.
- Lead the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) consistent with NCCD guidelines.
- Foster strong partnerships with students, parents, teachers, and external support agencies.
- Liaise with allied health professionals and Advisory Visiting Teachers to determine and implement reasonable adjustments for students with disabilities.
- Coordinate diagnostic testing for all students
- Encourage students in their learning journey, enabling them to achieve their God-given potential.
- Contribute to the pastoral care and wider life of the College.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a committed, practising Christian who actively attends a Christian church.
- Support and uphold the Christian ethos and values of Border Rivers Christian College.
- Hold appropriate teaching qualifications and Queensland teacher registration (or be eligible to obtain registration).
- Demonstrate experience or a strong interest in inclusive education and learning support.
- Possess excellent leadership, interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.
