About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to lead the events that bring Alpha Australia's mission to life nationally. As Events Lead, you'll carry significant responsibility for delivering Spheres' national events, while also serving the broader organisation's project and event needs.

This role is for someone who thrives on turning vision into reality. You'll be hands-on in every detail, from venues and volunteers to budgets and behind-the-scenes logistics, ensuring events are delivered with excellence, energy, and heart. Given the national scope of this work, the role calls for high energy, flexibility, and interstate travel.

What you'll do:
- Lead national delivery of Spheres flagship events, including our national gatherings and regional events - venues, accommodation, catering, program, and on-site logistics, delivered within budget.
- Recruit, train, and lead volunteer teams who make our events run smoothly, including coordinating child safety training.
- Build strong relationships with churches, schools, suppliers, and ministry partners across the country.
- Lead the planning and delivery of national projects and campaigns beyond Spheres, working closely with teams across Alpha Australia.
- Keep leadership informed with clear, accurate reporting on event delivery and impact.

About You
You're an experienced events or project leader who loves the details as much as the big picture. You bring:
- A genuine heart for Alpha's mission and for seeing the next generation come alive in faith.
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale or national events.
- Strong financial and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A gift for building relationships with people from all kinds of backgrounds and denominations.
- High energy and stamina, with genuine enthusiasm for national travel and event-driven evenings and weekends.

Prior involvement with Alpha or Spheres, and a background in church, ministry, or not-for-profit settings will all be highly regarded.
