  • Works with St Paul's Cathedral (0.2) and Anglican Diocese of Melbourne stakeholders

    About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a relationship-focused fundraising professional to strengthen donor engagement, grow philanthropic support and develop opportunities for supporters to make a lasting impact through their giving. You will build meaningful relationships with donors, church leaders and stakeholders while helping shape the future of Anglican ministry and mission across Melbourne.


About the Organisation

The Melbourne Anglican Foundation encourages, facilitates and stewards philanthropic support for ministries and programs across the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne. The Foundation also works closely with St Paul's Cathedral to support fundraising and legacy giving initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage relationships with existing and prospective donors of Melbourne Anglican Foundation and St Paul’s Cathedral including:

• Develop and grow legacy giving programs
• Implement donor stewardship and engagement strategies
• Identify, cultivate and steward philanthropic giving opportunities
• Support fundraising campaigns, appeals and donor communications
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective supporters
• Maintain accurate CRM records and reporting
• Represent the Foundation and the Cathedral at events and stakeholder meetings


Qualifications & Experience

Essential
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• High level of professionalism, discretion and integrity
• Ability to work independently
• Alignment with the values and mission of the Foundation

Desirable

• Experience in fundraising, philanthropy or donor engagement
- Experience in legacy giving
• Not-for-profit experience
• Understanding of Anglican ministry or faith-based organisations


What Success Looks Like

• Growth in donor engagement and stewardship activity
• Increased philanthropic support, bequests and donor pipeline development • Establish legacy giving program and materials
• Strong relationships with donors and stakeholders
• Accurate CRM records and reporting
