About the program

Wesley Home Care delivers funded aged care services to older people across multiple regions in New South Wales under the Support at Home program and the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP). We support older Australians to live independently in their homes and communities, delivering personal care, nursing, domestic assistance, social support and care management services.

About the role

We are seeking an Auditing and Administration Officer to join our Quality, Risk and Compliance team. This is a newly created role that combines quality auditing with hands-on administrative support across Wesley Home Care.

You will conduct cyclical self-assessments against the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, manage our Associated Provider Management Framework, and provide general administrative and operational support to the Quality, Performance and Governance Manager, Executive General Manager and broader team.

This is an opportunity to shape a quality function from the ground up in a dynamic home care environment operating under Australia’s reformed aged care legislation. You’ll need to be comfortable moving between structured audit work and ad-hoc tasks as priorities shift.

Essential criteria

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in quality management, health services management, aged care, community services, business administration or a related discipline; or equivalent experience
  • Experience conducting internal audits, self-assessments or compliance reviews in a regulated environment, preferably aged care or community services
  • Experience providing administrative and operational support in a professional environment
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, organisational and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities and ad-hoc requests
  • Current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel across NSW

Desirable criteria

  • Understanding of the Aged Care Act 2024, Aged Care Rules 2025 and the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Experience managing third-party or subcontractor compliance, including worker screening
  • Internal auditor certification (e.g. ISO 9001 Lead/Internal Auditor) or willingness to obtain
  • Experience with the Government Provider Management System (GPMS), Protecht or AlayaCare
