About Us

Koorong is Australia's largest Christian retailer, with over 45 years of serving customers through 14 stores and a thriving online platform. We're currently going through large transformation and we're looking for Call Centre Assistants to be part of this exciting journey.

Working in a fast-paced retail environment, this role aims to support the retail team, by delivering fantastic customer service skills to our loyal customers. If you're looking for casual work and are passionate about working in a purpose-driven organisation, we'd love to hear from you.

Role Specifics:

• Casual shifts as required (Call Centre opening hours: Mon - Sat, 8:00am – 6:00pm)
• Must be available for increased shifts to cover staff away on leave during busy periods (such as university exam periods, holidays, sales, pre-Christmas season etc)
• Ideal candidates are available 3-4 days a week

Successful candidates will provide exceptional customer service via in-bound calls, emails and mail in a professional and timely manner. Providing an enjoyable Koorong experience for our external and internal customers will require being well informed on products and processes. Other responsibilities include product order entry and answering inquiries.

About you:

• 1 - 2 years administration experience is advantageous (not essential); full training will be provided.
• You are a hard worker with initiative and the ability to work independently.
• You will need to be accurate and efficient, have a positive attitude and the ability to focus on completing tasks on time.
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
• An intermediate - advanced level of computer literacy is essential, along with fast and accurate typing skills.
• A passion for Christian retailing and a good knowledge of Christian resources would be an advantage.
