About the role
The Prep Early Childhood Educator works in our Prep alongside our team of early childhood educators. Candidates with Certificate 3 qualifications and above are invited to apply.
Early Childhood Educators at Illawarra Christian School enjoy a 41-week work year, as well as fixed and regular shifts between 8am and 4pm. The Early Childhood Educators at ICS are a friendly, collegiate team, enjoying generous salary entitlements in line with the Christian Schools NSW (Support & Operational Staff) award. Our Prep enrols students from age 3 to 5 only, and the centre recently renewed its Exceeding Expectations accreditation.
This permanent role is five days per week during school terms, and commences in Term 1, 2025. Candidates with diploma-level qualifications will be at an advantage.

The ideal candidate
Committed Christians of reformed persuasion are invited to apply. Successful applicants will possess:
- the capacity to work as part of a dynamic staff team
- qualifications in Early Childhood at Certificate 3 level or above
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- demonstrated active involvement in a local church
- valid Working with Children Check
