The Role

The Middle School Studies Coordinator (Year 6 - 8) works directly to the Head of Middle/Senior School. This is one of three Middle School Coordinators who, along with the Head of Middle/Senior School, comprise the Middle School Leadership Team. This team provides Christian leadership, implementation of the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the Middle School.

They are responsible for the ongoing development, compliance and administrative support of a rich and invigorating, Christ centred learning experience for students in the Middle School as part of the Middle School Leadership Team. They take the lead role in overseeing all aspects of compliance and administration in relation to the educational aspects of the Middle School as we deliver an authentic Christian curriculum, which gives attention to:

  • meeting the legislative requirements around the documentation and delivery of our educational programs
  • overseeing and managing all aspects of student reporting in the Middle School
  • overseeing, managing and reporting on all aspects of assessment programs related to the tracking of students from Year 6 – 8, and
  • overseeing and managing teacher registration in the Middle School.

The Middle School Studies Coordinator is a full-time Position of Responsibility 2 (PR2) and will undertake a 0.8FTE teaching load in the Middle / Senior School.
