About the Role

  • Full Time | OR 4 days Part Time considered
  • Fixed Term Parental Leave contract -12 months, starting October 6, 2026
  • Reporting to the CEO

We are looking for a high performing and driven professional who can excel in this pivotal role. You'll be relied on for your pro-active support, great eye for detail, follow-up and great communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing professional and timely administrative support to the CEO, including diary management, meeting arrangements and efficiently coordinating relevant reports and documentation
  • Supporting Board administration, including meeting preparation, Board paper coordination, minute taking, and follow up actions
  • Organisation of travel requirements, including overseeing the travel booking platform
  • Office Management of BSA's North Sydney Head Office
  • Coordinating Staff Engagement activities and events
  • Tracking actions and ensuring timely follow up on key priorities of the Leadership Team

Selection Criteria

We are excited to hear from candidates who are committed to the mission of Bible Society Australia and that have:

  • A clear understanding of and commitment to the Christian faith and Bible Society Australia's mission and role within the Christian community
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels including staff, Board members and other key stakeholders in a friendly and professional way including exceptional written skills
  • Strong planning and time-management skills with the ability to work independently and manage own workload
  • Good eye for detail
  • Proactive approach with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Proven ability to manage confidential information with discretion and integrity
