Drive strategic business development, build long-term partnerships and generate sustainable growth across two established purpose-driven organisations within the Christian education, well-being and not-for-profit sectors......

A unique opportunity to help purpose-driven organisations grow their impact through meaningful partnerships.

Hours: 28–32 hours per week (4–5 days)

Travel: Some interstate travel for conferences, client meetings and networking events.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Partnerships & Growth Manager to drive strategic business development, build long-term partnerships and generate sustainable growth across two established purpose-driven organisations within the Christian education, well-being and not-for-profit sectors. Both organisations have strong reputations, established client bases and ambitious growth plans.

This is a unique role where you'll represent two complementary organisations, working as an embedded business development member of each leadership team while being supported by experienced marketing, communications and operational specialists.

The Opportunity

This isn't a traditional sales role. It's about building trusted relationships, identifying opportunities, understanding organisational needs and helping clients access services that genuinely create positive impact.

You'll manage a portfolio across two organisations, dividing your time approximately equally between each partner.

You'll work closely with senior leaders, developing new partnerships while nurturing long-term relationships across the Christian, education and purpose-driven sectors.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Developing and implementing Business Development strategies across your portfolio
  • Building relationships with CEOs, Executive Leaders, Principals and Boards
  • Identifying and qualifying new opportunities
  • Managing the full Business Development process from first conversation through to signed agreement
  • Preparing proposals, presentations and partnership recommendations
  • Representing your portfolio organisations at conferences, networking events and industry gatherings
  • Maintaining an active opportunity pipeline and achieving agreed growth targets
  • Working collaboratively with internal specialist teams to ensure exceptional client experiences
  • Developing long-term partnerships that generate ongoing growth and referrals.

About You

You're an experienced relationship builder who loves the thrill of the chase and the satisfaction of achieving meaningful targets. You're naturally curious and engaging—the kind of person who strikes up conversations with people on planes, at conferences or over coffee because you genuinely enjoy hearing their stories. You know how to build trust, ask thoughtful questions, uncover opportunities and, when the timing is right, confidently ask for the business.

You'll bring:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in Business Development, partnerships, relationship management or strategic sales
  • Strong networks across the Christian, education and/or not-for-profit sectors
  • Demonstrated success growing client relationships and securing new business
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Confidence engaging with senior executives and organisational leaders
  • High levels of initiative, professionalism and accountability
  • A genuine appreciation for faith-based organisations and purpose-driven work

Why This Role?

This is a rare opportunity to represent two highly respected organisations within one role.

You'll enjoy genuine variety, flexibility and autonomy while working alongside experienced leadership teams that value relationships over transactions.

Your work will directly contribute to organisations creating stronger communities, healthier workplaces and greater social impact across Australia.
