Casual | Payneham, SA

Role Specifics -

• Payneham, Adelaide location
• Casual hours (10-30 hours per week)
• Monday – Saturday availability is essential
• There is currently availability across our Dock and Shopfloor team.

This role will mainly focus on receiving in product, sending out mail and organising our dock area. In addition to the task of organising our stock, this position will also involve cash register operation, re-stocking shelves, pricing stock, store merchandising, opening/closing the store and other duties as required.

About You -

We're looking for a reliable and motivated team member who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You'll have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work both collaboratively as part of a team and independently. You'll be organised, accurate, and committed to completing tasks efficiently while maintaining a high standard of work.

Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment is essential, along with intermediate computer skills. A current forklift licence is highly regarded, but not essential. Successful candidates will be requested to source a license.

An interest in Christian retailing and a good knowledge of Christian books, Bibles, and related resources would be an advantage.

Inherent requirements of the role also include:

• Safely performing manual handling tasks, including lifting and carrying items weighing up to 20kg.
• Frequently bending, reaching, twisting, and squatting throughout the workday.
• Standing and walking for the majority of each shift.
