Year level(s): Reception to Year 6
Commencing: 14/1/2027
Type: Permanent, Full-Time, 3-Year Tenure (0.8FTE will be considered)
FTE: 0.6 FTE release time, 0.4 FTE teaching load
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
We are looking for a passionate curriculum leader and teacher to be a part of our collaborative team at Cedar College.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate a sincere commitment to Jesus Christ and the philosophy of Christian Education. Applicants will also demonstrate an active involvement in their local church and align themselves with the College’s core beliefs.
The Curriculum and Primary School Leadership Teams work with classroom and specialist teachers, who together, are responsible for student pastoral care, welfare, academic progress, and spiritual growth, and for establishing and maintaining the development of the Christian worldview within the Primary School. They work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and the wider education community to facilitate student learning and to improve student outcomes at Cedar College.
As a part-time classroom teacher, The Director of Primary School Curriculum will be responsible for teaching all aspects of The Australian Curriculum to a year level yet to be determined.

Reporting/Working Relationships:
The Director of Primary School Curriculum will work under the curriculum direction of the Head of Teaching, Learning and Innovation. As part of the Primary School Leadership Team, they will also work under the leadership of the Head of Primary School. The Director of Primary School Curriculum will support and guide teaching staff in implementing the College’s strategic aims and ethos.

- Working With Children Check
- Current RRHAN-EC certificate
- Protective Practices online course completion
