The Opportunity
Annandale Christian College is seeking an experienced, strategic, and values-driven Business Manager to provide leadership across the College's financial, operational, and administrative functions.
This is a unique opportunity to join a flourishing Christian educational community and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the College. Reporting directly to the Principal and serving as a key member of the College Executive Team, the Business Manager will contribute to strategic planning, support strong governance practices, and ensure the effective stewardship of resources that enable the College's mission to thrive.
Working closely with the Principal, Board, and senior leaders, the Business Manager will provide trusted advice, drive operational excellence, and lead sustainable growth initiatives while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
About You
The successful applicant will be an accomplished senior leader with demonstrated experience in business, finance, HR, operations, or commercial management roles. They will combine strong financial and analytical expertise with exceptional leadership and relationship-building skills.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Proven experience in strategic business, financial, or operational leadership.
- Strong commercial acumen and financial management capability.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- The ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
- Sound judgement, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to excellence, integrity, stewardship, and servant leadership.
- Proven experience in managing building and capital projects.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline are essential. Professional qualifications as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) are strongly preferred and will be highly regarded.
