Seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Secondary Mathematics Teacher (Years 7-10) to join our team from the beginning of the 2027 school year.....

Full-time or Part-time (0.8 FTE) | Commencing January 2027

Due to the retirement of a valued staff member and the continued growth of our Secondary School, Covenant Christian School is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Secondary Mathematics Teacher (Years 7-10) to join our team from the beginning of the 2027 school year.

We are looking for a committed Christian educator who is passionate about teaching Mathematics to students in Years 7–10 and who desires to serve in a school where Jesus Christ is openly acknowledged and celebrated as Lord of all.

The successful applicant ideally will:

• Be a suitably qualified Secondary Mathematics teacher (Years 7–10).
• Be eligible to work in Australia.
• Be a committed Christian who is a member of, and actively involved in, a local Protestant church.
• Wholeheartedly support the Christian ethos, vision, and Statement of Faith of Covenant Christian School.
• Be enthusiastic about contributing to curriculum development that integrates a classical and Christ-centred approach to education.
• Demonstrate excellence in classroom teaching and a commitment to educational excellence.
• Be part of a staff team that seeks to honour God in all that it does.
• Contribute positively to the life of the School community.
• Be a positive role model through personal dress, manner, language, humility, and humour.
• Obtain and maintain Teacher Registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI).
• Obtain and maintain an ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration.
