Your Opportunity

Due to an internal promotion, we now have a full-time opportunity. As our Revenue & Receivables Officer, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable function while providing support to Revenue & Receivables Officers. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate billing, collections, cash receipting, reconciliations and reporting while maintaining high levels of customer service for residents, clients and their families.

By driving operational excellence, supporting system and process improvement initiatives, and developing team capability, you will help ensure the financial integrity and effectiveness of a vital function within Anglicare.

With integrity and resilience, you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end invoicing, collections, receipting and account reconciliation processes.
  • Support, coach and develop new Revenue & Receivables team members while overseeing daily operational issues.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative, prudential and internal policy requirements, including management of refund controls.
  • Prepare and review reporting, Medicare payment reconciliations and cash flow projections while resolving aged debt and account variances.
  • Partner with operational stakeholders to improve processes, provide training and enhance customer outcomes.

What you'll bring

You are a customer-focused Accounts Receivable professional with strong technical expertise and a passion for delivering accurate, efficient and compliant financial processes. You enjoy building positive stakeholder relationships, solving problems and identifying opportunities to improve systems and ways of working.

You also share our values of Integrity, Justice, Compassion and Excellence and demonstrate them in the way you work every day.

You will also need:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable environment.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of billing, collections, receipting and reconciliation processes.
  • Experience managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Experience within aged care, healthcare or a large service-based organisation.
  • Experience supporting or mentoring team members.
  • Knowledge of Epicor Software would be preferred
  • Exposure to process improvement and financial systems enhancement initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
  • A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
