Morling College is a multi-campus Christian higher education provider with campuses in Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth. We are seeking a part-time Student Recruitment Officer (3 days/week) to join our Sydney campus to guide prospective students from their first enquiry through to application readiness.

As our Student Recruitment Officer, you will:

  • Engage and Nurture Leads – Respond to prospective student enquiries, qualify leads, and provide personalised follow-up to guide them through early decision-making stages.
  • Manage Seamless Handovers – Identify application-ready leads and prepare clear handover documentation for the Admissions team to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Represent at Events – Attend and support student recruitment events, capturing and following up with leads to maintain engagement.
  • Maintain CRM and Report Insights – Accurately log all interactions in the CRM platform, collaborate with teams, and provide regular reports to inform our student recruitment strategies.
  • This role is permanent part-time, 22.8 hours/week (3 days/week).
  • Remuneration: $75,666/year pro-rated to $45,399/year (excl. Super).

Essential Key Attributes (please respond to these attributes in your Cover Letter):

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to engage with prospective students both in person and remotely.
  • Proven interpersonal and customer service skills, ideally within a sales or recruitment environment.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • A creative and adaptable thinker with a proactive, innovative approach.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
  • Involvement in a local evangelical church and demonstrated Christian character.
  • Alignment of personal values, beliefs and practices with the mission, Staff Code (https://tinyurl.com/mcstaffcode), and Christian ethos of Morling College.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Previous experience in the Higher Education sector and/or complex organisations.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce/Pardot highly desirable) or a demonstrated willingness and aptitude to learn quickly.
