Our client is a highly respected Christian international development organisation dedicated to empowering communities, equipping local leaders, supporting women and children, improving livelihoods, restoring health, and responding to humanitarian needs around the world.
This is not a traditional Executive Assistant role.
You will become an extension of the CEO, strategic organiser and operational force who helps ensure key initiatives, relationships and priorities continue moving forward across a growing global ministry.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll operate at the heart of the organisation, supporting executive leadership, governance activities, stakeholder engagement and strategic projects.
You'll coordinate complex schedules across multiple time zones, manage executive communications, prepare board and governance documentation, coordinate travel, and ensure critical actions are followed through.
This role requires someone who can think ahead, solve problems, take ownership and operate with a high degree of trust, discretion and maturity.
Key Responsibilities

✔ Board and governance support
✔ Executive correspondence and stakeholder liaison
✔ International travel coordination
✔ Meeting preparation, agendas and minutes
✔ Project coordination and follow-up
✔ Inbox management and prioritisation
✔ Supporting strategic initiatives and organisational priorities
✔ Leveraging technology, AI and modern productivity tools to improve effectiveness
About You
You are likely an experienced Executive Assistant, Executive Officer, support professional or senior administrator who enjoys operating at a high level.
You will bring:
- A strong values alignment with the organisation's mission and values
- Experience supporting senior executives, founders, ministry leaders or boards
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills
- High emotional intelligence and relationship-building capability
- Strong initiative and the ability to work autonomously
- Excellent judgement, discretion and confidentiality
- Confidence working with technology, systems and AI-enabled tools
- The ability to balance operational excellence with a people-first approach
