We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Primary School Learning Support Assistant (Intervention) to join our Learning Support team, commencing Term 3 2026. This is a part-time position working four days per week during term time, Monday to Thursday, from 8:40am to 12:40pm.

The Primary School Learning Support Assistant (Intervention) works under the direction of teachers to support students with diverse learning needs through targeted intervention programs, individualised learning support, and the implementation of specialist recommendations. The role focuses on fostering student engagement, independence, and inclusion, while collaborating with teachers and support staff to deliver effective learning outcomes within a caring Christian educational environment.

Essential Criteria

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • A person of evangelical Christian convictions and character, actively involved in a Bible-based Christian church and committed to the work of Christian education.
  • Affirm and uphold the School’s Statement of Faith and committed to working a biblical worldview into all aspects of School role.
  • Have a current Working with Children Check as legislated.
  • Hold a Certificate III or IV in Education Support or intending to actively pursue in the near future.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting students to meet a wide range of student learning requirements.
  • A genuine commitment to inclusive education practices in learning support education.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and harmoniously within team settings. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently and respectfully with students, colleagues, and the broader school community.
