Join our Early Learning Centre as Educational Leader / Assistant Director and play a key role in shaping a Christ-centred learning community. You'll inspire and support educators, lead high-quality, play-based early childhood programs, and foster strong partnerships with children and families.......

Working closely with the Director and wider school team, you'll help drive excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement while providing leadership across the ELC, including acting in the Director's absence. Full-time ongoing position.

Selection Criteria

  • Be a committed Christian with a clear understanding of, and support for, education in a Christian School setting.
  • Have a genuine interest in the welfare of students and in their social, spiritual and academic development.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills to collaborate with the Nominated Supervisor (Director), the ELC team and wider school community.
  • Collaborate with Teachers and Educators to plan, implement and evaluate a developmentally appropriate program for early childhood education.
  • Have a thorough working knowledge of the National Quality Framework and the relevant early childhood legislation and regulations which govern the provision of Early Learning Centre.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work successfully as part of a team including the ability to critically reflect on your practice and attitudes and how these affect the wider team culture.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to contribute to a positive and professional team culture.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and a willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
  • A degree in Early Childhood Teaching (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in leadership in an Early Learning Centre or long day care centre
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) card
