🎓 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC50121) This qualification allows you to care for and educate children from birth to 5 years, and to Year 6, including kindergarten-aged children and school aged children - within our OHSC setting — meeting NQF staffing ratios and requirements. |

About the Role:
- Work within our OHSC service supporting kindergarten-aged children (4–5 years) to Year 6, meeting the NQF requirement for a Diploma-qualified educator when children are in attendance.
- Deliver intentional, play-based programs that are developmentally appropriate for early learners, drawing on the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework (VEYLF) and My Time Our Place (MTOP).
- Build warm, trusting relationships with children and their families, supporting the transition between kinder and school-aged care environments.
- Programming, observations, analysing, learning documentation, and individual plans that reflect each child’s development and wellbeing.
- Honour our faith-based values in all interactions — nurturing the whole child: mind, body, and spirit.
- Support Assessment & Ratings, Quality Improvement Planning, and NQS compliance across the service.
- Prepare healthy, nourishing breakfast and afternoon tea for children in your care.
What You Bring:
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC50121) or equivalent — essential for this role to meet ACECQA staffing requirements.
- Valid Working with Children Check - Employer (or willingness to obtain).
- First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management (or willingness to obtain)
- Food Safety Handler certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Solid understanding of the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework (VEYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- A personal alignment with Christian values and a heart for faith-centred, purposeful early childhood education.
- Warmth, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for nurturing the youngest and most formative years of a child’s life.
