King’s Baptist Church is seeking an experienced and hands-on Café Manager to lead our well-loved Milk+Honey Café.

Milk+Honey Café exists as a ministry of King’s Baptist Church to create a welcoming space where people experience genuine connection, belonging, and community. Through everyday hospitality, the café seeks to reflect the heart of Jesus - fostering relationships, encouraging contribution, and creating opportunities for people to feel valued and positively impacted within the church and wider neighbourhood.

Key focus areas:

• Leading daily café operations with high standards in service, coffee, and food quality
• Building a positive, accountable team culture
• Managing rostering, costs, and operational performance
• Contributing to a welcoming environment that reflects the values of King’s Baptist Church

The role serves as an important relational bridge between the café, the church, and the wider community. The Café Manager is expected to be an active and engaged member of King’s Baptist Church, contributing to a culture of belonging and ensuring the café remains a welcoming and accessible space for all.

The role may be offered on a part-time or full-time basis, depending on the successful candidate and the operational needs of the café, provided that the key responsibilities of the role are effectively fulfilled. The position includes reasonable flexibility in working arrangements, along with a requirement to work additional hours as needed to meet operational demands.
