About the Role

Crossway is a vibrant and growing church committed to helping people find and follow Jesus. We are seeking an experienced and values-driven leader to join our team as Manager, Operations and Administration.

This leadership role is a unique opportunity to combine strategic leadership, operational excellence, and ministry support to help create environments where people can encounter Christ, grow in faith, and find belonging.

The Manager, Operations and Administration is a full-time role that provides leadership across a broad range of operational functions, including:

  • Crossway Café operations
  • Ministry administration and support teams
  • Office management and facilities coordination
  • Reception and front-of-house services
  • Organisational systems, processes and data management
  • Operational support for Campuses and Movements

As a key connector across the organisation, you will ensure that every operational touchpoint reflects Crossway's commitment to warmth, care, hospitality, and excellence. You will work collaboratively with ministry leaders and operational teams to create systems and environments that enable our mission and ministries to flourish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership across community operations, administration, hospitality, reception, and organisational systems.
  • Lead and develop a diverse team of staff and volunteers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and Christ-centred service.
  • Oversee the delivery of ministry administrative support services, ensuring consistency, effectiveness, and strong partnerships with ministry leaders.
  • Ensure Crossway's reception and front-of-house environments provide a welcoming and professional experience for all visitors, members, and guests.
  • Oversee the management and continuous improvement of organisational data, systems, and processes to support ministry effectiveness and decision-making.
  • Lead the operation of the Crossway Café, ensuring it reflects Crossway's hospitality values while maintaining sound operational and financial practices.
  • Contribute as a senior leader to the achievement of Crossway's mission, vision, and strategic priorities.

About You

You are an experienced people leader with strong operational and organisational capability, able to bring clarity, structure, and excellence across multiple functions.

You will ideally bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in senior operational, administrative, hospitality, or organisational leadership
  • Strong people leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across diverse service areas
  • Excellent organisational, strategic planning, and project management capabilities
  • Experience managing systems, processes, and operational services in a growing organisation
  • The ability to build strong relationships and influence across multiple stakeholders and ministry areas
  • A heart for hospitality, service, and creating welcoming environments
  • A personal Christian faith and alignment with Crossway's mission, vision, and values
