About the role

This role is based within our Community and Mission team, supporting the development of high-quality funding submissions that enable our services to deliver meaningful outcomes across the community.

You will support the end-to-end tender and grants process, working closely with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, develop compelling submissions, and ensure compliance with funding requirements.

  • Play a key role in securing funding that enables vital community services, directly contributing to programs that support people in need
  • Work across the full tender lifecycle - from identifying opportunities to crafting high-quality, competitive submissions in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment
  • Build your expertise in research, service design and funding strategy while partnering with leaders across Community and Mission to shape impactful initiatives

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the coordination, development and submission of grant applications and tenders
  • Researching funding opportunities and gathering evidence to strengthen proposals
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to help develop service models
  • Drafting, reviewing and editing high-quality written submissions
  • Maintaining accurate records and tracking tender and grant activity
  • Ensuring all submissions meet compliance requirements and deadlines
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams and contributing to a collaborative working environment

About you

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. business, communications, social sciences or similar)
  • Experience in tender writing, grant applications, or professional/technical writing
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to tailor content to different audiences
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Strong research and analytical capability
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
  • Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • A current NSW Driver’s Licence (desirable)
