Life FM is a family-friendly Christian community radio station committed to bringing hope, encouragement, and connection to our community through positive media. We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Finance Assistant to join our team and help support the financial and administrative operations of the station.

About the Role

• Accounts payable and receivable

• Processing donations and supporter payments

• Bank reconciliations and financial data entry

• Payroll support and general finance administration

• Maintaining accurate financial records

• Assisting with reporting and office administration including answering the phone

• Banking and going to the post office

This role works closely with station leadership and administration staff to help ensure smooth and efficient operations.

About You

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail

• Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality

• Friendly, reliable, and proactive

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

• Supportive of the mission and values of Christian media

Ideally You Will Have

• Experience in bookkeeping, accounts, or finance administration

• Experience with Xero, or similar accounting software

• Strong computer and communication skills

• Experience in a not-for-profit environment (desirable but not essential)
