Who are we?
Wedderburn Christian Campsite offers outdoor activity-based programs catering for school groups, weekend retreats and day programs. We also run school holiday adventure programs as part of our vision and mission, sharing the gospel in a fun, caring environment. We have an enthusiastic, unified team that work together to create positive outdoor experiences for thousands of children and adults each year. We are expanding our team and have multiple roles available including:
- Outdoor Education Instructors
- Catering/Kitchen hand
- Cleaners
- Maintenance
- Administration
- School holiday program leaders
- NDIS support workers
Most of our team members work across a variety of roles. Although one area might be your specialty, you may be required to jump in and assist in wider campsite operations from time to time to ensure each group receives the best possible camp experience!
What qualities are we looking for?
- Customer focussed, team player
- Commitment to the Christian faith
- Flexible approach to work duties
- Well-developed communication skills
- Professional yet friendly nature
- Physically fit to meet the work demands of the outdoor education industry
- Experience and/or understanding of the service industry
- Confident leading groups of children and adults
What qualifications do you need?
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
