Bayside Christian College is a co-educational Christian school offering ELC through to Year 12. The College is located in Langwarrin South, at the gateway to the Mornington Peninsula. The College’s 600 students enjoy learning within a caring and friendly atmosphere set within beautiful natural surrounds. 

We are seeking an organised, competent and highly relational person to fill the role of College Registrar, commencing in June 2020.

Reporting to the Community Development Officer, the Registrar will be responsible for the following key objectives:

  1. To efficiently and professionally conduct the College enrolment process with new families;
  2. To assist the Community Development Officer in running community events and promoting the College in the community; and
  3. ​​To contribute to the efficient operation of the College as an integral part of the Support Services Team.

​Flexible working conditions will be considered for this 0.8FTE (approx) position, including shorter work days, a weekly or fortnightly day off, and/or the capacity to purchase additional leave (up to 10 weeks per year in total). Tuition fee discounts are available to staff, along with the option to utilise before/after school care services on-site for enrolled ELC / Primary students.

Person specifications:
  • A good understanding of and commitment to the Christian mission and philosophy of the College;

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the capacity to build rapport with a variety of stakeholders;

  • Able to prioritise, organise, problem solve, demonstrate initiative and utilise common sense;

  • A high standard of personal presentation and integrity; and
  • ​Strong digital literacy skills, including MS Office Suite and Google docs and gmail.
Demonstrated skill and experience in a similar role in an Educational setting will be viewed favourably, as will relevant tertiary qualifications.
