About the role
The role of Scheduler works within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to provide scheduling services to HammondCare At Home. The Scheduler will efficiently administer and respond to short notice schedule changes.  Working in collaboration with the Senior Scheduler and HammondCare At Home Managers, the Scheduler will ensure outcomes continue to meet the needs of clients and staff, be financially sustainable, and be aligned with human resource legislation, policies and procedures including the relevant HammondCare At Home Care Worker Enterprise Agreement.

The essence of this role:

  • Provide, primarily reactive, efficient scheduling support to schedule changes with minimal disruption to clients and staff.
  • Provide customer service with effective and positive communication with all stakeholders.
  • Actively and cooperatively participate as a member of the centralised support team

About you

  • Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action.
  • Certificate level qualification or experience in a relevant field (including Business Administration, Communications or IT).
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service – a Call Centre background is ideal.
  • Excellent computer skills including database management and Microsoft Office applications (particularly, Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Strong organisational abilities, including effective time management and ability to prioritise in a busy work environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and problem solve with limited supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to record, report and maintain information.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
