Job Summary…
Outstanding opportunity to join our beautiful camp, set in gorgeous bushland just an hour from Melbourne. We provide unique activities and are committed to providing a positive and enriching camping experience incorporating Christian values and ethics.
We are seeking an experienced program coordinator/host who is an organised, motivated all-rounder and knows how to bring their A game!

As a well-respected and successful Christian camp, we host School, Church and corporate camps that we tailor to their needs. We believe we provide some of the best camp food by far and we love to offer unique programs. We focus on giving every camper a truly amazing experience from start to finish. About the job… (What you will be actually doing…)
 
  • Develop programs that creatively engage our participants in fun activities, tailored to Schools/Businesses needs
  • Meet and greet guests so that they feel welcome and energised for a great camp
  • Host camps with onsite and offsite programs
  • Learn how to roster the amazing team to ensure every team member gets to do both the stuff they love together with a share of the not so great stuff….
  • Pitching in where needed; this includes general housecleaning, serving the troops and general ‘stuff’ as needed – we are one big happy team sharing the load
 
About you…
 
  • You have a passion for facilitating youth and have worked in a similar role for a min of 2 years
  • You have a current WWC and drivers licence and a Cert IV in Outdoor Education or Recreation
  • You are available to work weekends (approx. 12 per year)
  • You’ll possess strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
  • You can find your way around a computer with excel, email and word
  • Flat water canoe / kayaking experience would be ideal but not essential
  • You want to work in a fantastic team delivering great experiences
  • You appreciate the value that a great camp provides to its campers and the impact it can have on them
