Youthworks is seeking a College Registrar to join our College and Year 13 team. Youthworks College trains students for children’s and youth ministry in a variety of church and school contexts. The Year 13 program is a yearlong discipleship program for all Christian school leavers.
About the role
To implement & administer all academic arrangements for the participations by students in courses offered by Youthworks College (YWC), including the YR13 program, within the Australian College of Theology (ACTh) Consortium.
Your responsibilities
  • Maintain an understanding of relevant ACT course requirements and Academic regulations; and YWC program offerings in order to advise on study programs for students
  • Liaise with vocational students regarding registration / enrolment enquiries
  • Manage and maintain student Registration & Records
  • Registration and administration of students’ ACT enrolment using Paradigm
  • Coordinating submission of student assessment tasks on Moodle, following up late submissions, recording grades, finalising and inputting grades into Paradigm.
  • Coordinate communication of assessment results to students
  • Maintaining records required for reporting to the ACT, Government and other external agencies
You will need to demonstrate
  • An ability to understand, implement and explain Academic policy
  • Experience in working and communicating clearly with young adults
  • An ability to maintain accuracy while interacting with fine detail
  • General administrative, time management and organizational skills
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • An ability to work flexibly within a team
  • Personal Christian faith and willingness to work within an Anglican organisation
  • Commitment to work with Youthworks’ Mission
It is desirable but not essential that you have previous experience in a similar role, the ability to generate creative solutions to workflow issues as they arise, advanced Excel/Word (Macros) skills and qualifications in Administration.
