Who Are We?
Fresh Hope, a ministry of Churches of Christ in NSW, is a not-for-profit Christian organisation providing a range of services to support communities through the sectors of aged care, social and community welfare, hospitality and ministry. These services are provided through our key agencies including Fresh Hope Care, Fresh Hope Venues and Fresh Hope Mission & Ministry.

What You Will Be Doing
Your objective is to transform complex talent challenges into positive business results and build powerful client relationships whilst working with a team of passionate leaders.

Our definition of an engaged workforce is a workforce that is passionate, energetic and committed to the wellbeing of our clients and the people we serve. You will work alongside the Organisational Development Manager (ODM) to help architect solutions for people leaders at all levels of the organisation, enabling them to engage their teams and inspire excellent performance. Your day to day will look like the following:
  • Partnering with our people leaders to integrate organisational talent strategies into day to day practice.  This includes workforce planning and job design.
  • Influence our people leaders to focus on workforce engagement and workforce capability through the use of strength-based methodologies.
  • Coach people leaders through transitions – helping them build their own individual capability and that of their team.
  • Integrate Predictive Analytics into the business: You will know how to gather quality data critical to helping leaders truly understand team needs and how to use these results to drive continuous improvement across all agencies.
  • Design and integrate talent selection approaches: You will lead the integration of effective recruitment tools and strategies that will secure the right job fit – Skill + Attitude + Cultural Fit.

Additionally, you will need to demonstrate:
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role;
  • Certification from Gallup as a strengths-based coach; 
  • Understanding of the Gallup Q12 Engagement tool;
  • Outstanding communication skills with comfort presenting to senior leadership;
  • Excellent relationship management, interpersonal skills, influencing and negotiating skills, and ability to work in a cross-functional environment;
  • Expertise in aligning faith-based Ethos with organisational leadership development;
  • Certification in change management is desirable.
Remuneration is based on experience. As an additional benefit there is a tax-free component of your remuneration available under the Public Benevolent Institution.
