Events Coordinator & Member Services Officer
Are you looking for a position where your exceptional skills as an Events Coordinator & Member Services Officer can be utilized?
Christian Venues Association (CVA, Head Office in Sydney, NSW), is looking for someone to fill this role. The successful candidate will possess outstanding presentation and communication skills, strong organisational and interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task, be team-orientated and be capable of projecting a positive image of the Association to its members. Naturally, a commitment to accuracy and detail are essential in this role.
This position is a part time (21 hours per week) position, with the ability to be located anywhere within Australia.
The person we are looking for will have direct responsible for the development, creation, and management of CVA’s numerous events and conferences held each year.
To be considered for this role, you will have experience and or the ability to: -
  • Design, plan & promote events and conferences
  • Manage the logistics of events, such as venue, catering, speakers, marketing and implementation
  • Source Event Sponsors
  • Manage registrations for all CVA events and conferences
  • Develop appropriate social media and other promotion for events.
  • Ensure appropriate reviews are conducted after each event
  • Engage in conversations with CVA members to ensure that CVA is meeting member needs
  • Work with the Office Manager on recruitment and retention strategies for CVA members
  • Manage member enquiries and ensure that all member enquiries are followed through to completion
  • Be responsible for producing our monthly e-publication
  • Be responsible for producing our fortnightly Prayer Points publication
  • Be able to demonstrate an active and vibrant Christian faith

CVA is a not-for-profit company, which operates as an association of organisations, families and individuals that support Christian ministry by hosting camps, conferences, retreats, and special events at their venues.
Members of CVA host clients from many sectors of the community, including churches, schools, clubs, corporate groups, charitable, community and youth groups.
The Christian Supply Chain Buying Group (CSC) is a division of CVA. This division exists to provide collaborative buying services to our members.
The commencement date and salary are negotiable with the successful candidate.
