About the role
The role of the Services Support Officer (SSO) works within the Mission and Mission in Action of HammondCare to ensure that services are tailored to the needs of individual clients and maximise client satisfaction. The SSO undertakes a key role in the HammondCare AtHome frontline care team, providing reliable office-based support for Case Manager/s, care workers, clients and their representatives and other external agencies.

Furthermore, the SSO works closely with Case Manager/s to ensure effective program administration. More specifically, the SSO is responsible for staff and client roster changes, payroll and client documentation (e.g. office and home files, typing of care plans, financial requirements), in consultation with Case Manager/s.

The essence of this role:
• Provides reliable office-based support for Case Manager/s, care workers, clients and their representatives.
• Works closely with Case Manager/s to ensure effective program administration.
• Responsible for staff and client roster changes, payroll and client documentation, product/equipment orders in consultation with Case Manager/s.

About you
• Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action.
• Certificate IV Customer Contact - desirable
• Demonstrated experience in customer service.
• Knowledge of the Home Care Packages Program Guidelines, Home Care Common Standards and HammondAtHome Care Worker Enterprise Agreement 2015. Demonstrated commitment to excellence in customer service principles to ensure the consistent provision of exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to use initiative and problem solve with limited supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to record, report and maintain information.
• Strong administrative and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Empathy and patience.
