About the role
Youthworks is seeking a Guest Services Coordinator to wow our guests by delivering outstanding customer service at our wonderful waterfront property in the Royal National Park.
Youthworks Conference Centre’s provide a place of temporary community for groups for relational and personal growth. We are intentional partners to schools, churches and like-minded community groups through networking, collaboration and facilitation of Word ministry. We are providers of outstanding venues in amazing locations and Christian hospitality. We believe our interactions with our guests and each other are opportunities to promote and proclaim the gospel.
Your responsibilities
  • Oversee the day to day management of guest services functions, across a 7 day a week operation, including but not limited to ensuring adequate guest service staff are rostered to fulfil guest group requirements, including activities  
  • Delegate as appropriate the day to day management of guest services functions for weekend periods.
  • As required, be on call outside of hours, to facilitate guest groups when unforeseen circumstances arise.
You will need to demonstrate
  • Ability and availability to, if required and appropriate, cover shifts Monday to Sunday to assist with seven-days-per-week operations
  • Experience in the hospitality / guest services field
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and to be flexible to reflect changes in priority 
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills and strong work ethos
  • A systematic and focused approach to tasks with a strong attention to detail
  • An ability to work with a wide range of staff to achieve effective outcomes
  • Personal Christian faith and willingness to work within an Anglican organisation
RSA Certification, Hospitality or leadership qualifications, and experience managing budgets are desirable but not essential.
Current drivers licence and own transport is essential as there is no public transport anywhere near the Port Hacking Conference Centres.
