PeaceWise exists to provide practical help and real hope to a conflict-weary world. We help individuals, organisations and communities learn life-changing biblical peacemaking principles and build cultures of peace.

PeaceWiseKids is our multi-year project to develop biblical peacemaking material for children so that they may become peacemakers for life, and in the process learn how deeply the God of Peace loves them.

PeaceWise is offering a 25-30 hour per week role (to be agreed with applicant) commencing March 2019 for a dynamic and experienced professional to be the Content and Curriculum Manager for PeaceWiseKids to develop the course material for Years K-4, to supplement the existing and in production course material for Years 5-10.   There is flexibility if desired to include a strong work from home component, and hours can be agreed to suit – eg. 4 days a week is a possibility.

To be successful, the candidate must possess the following attributes and qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in education or other relevant field. 
  • Extensive experience within primary school Christian education in Australia
  • Excellent and proven people and project management skills
  • Demonstrable expertise in primary school course creation mapped to curriculum outcomes
  • A self-starter able to work both independently and in teams
  • Ability to push through challenges and inspire and encourage a creative team to deliver inspirational children’s peacemaking content
  • Comfortable with technology, well-organised and able to execute long-term plans
  • Good promoter and advocate able to build strategic relationships and generate enthusiasm, support and buy-in for PeaceWiseKids especially with schools, church groups and other stakeholders
  • Familiarity with PeaceWise adult principles and training is a plus
  • Sense of humour :)
