Job Description:

Olive Tree Media is a Christian media organisation, based in the Sutherland Shire in Sydney, creating contemporary documentaries, books and media for international broadcast and local church use (http://www.olivetreemedia.com.au). Olive Tree Media's vision is to introduce people to Jesus, communicate a Christian worldview, and transform beliefs, attitudes and lives.

They are looking for an efficient, positive and trustworthy part-time Office Manager to assist the organisation and support the directors, Karl and Jane Faase. 
 
This role includes the management of the office including administrative tasks, bookkeeping, online orders and dispatch, and other tasks as required.

The office is located in Miranda and close to trains and buses. This job provides a great opportunity for someone looking to work for a growing Christian ministry producing cutting-edge media for broadcast and distribution. 

The role will commence in January 2019 (starting date Wednesday 9th January) with two days training in December (dates to be arranged with successful candidate)

Job Requirements:

Responsibilities
  • Office administration tasks as required
  • Dispatch of online orders
  • Invoicing and bookkeeping 
  • Liaising with people seeking to connect with Olive Tree Media
  • Follow up and support for churches and ministries using Olive Tree Media resources
  • Donor management
  • PowerPoint presentations
  • Travel bookings and calendar management as required 
Skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong administrative skills including attention to detail, efficiency and the ability to multi-task
  • High level of responsibility and trustworthiness
  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office and Powerpoint (Mac) 
  • Prior experience with Quickbooks and Wordpress is advantageous
  • Expense management experience also desirable 
Requirements
  • Applicants must have prior admin or office experience 
  • Applicants must be able to be present in the Olive Tree Media office three part-days per week
  • Applicants must be able to demonstrate that they align with the Christian ethos & values of Olive Tree Media
