The Salvation Army has a new national scope with a National Centre for Restoration whose primary purpose is to provide support for any person who has been the victim of abuse while in Salvation Army care. This response is provided across Australia through The Centre for Restoration.

The Case Manager, reporting to the Senior Case Manager, will be responsible for providing comprehensive and specialised claims case management support for survivors of contemporary and historic abuse within The Salvation Army.

To be successful in this role you will have qualifications in the area of Social Work or Psychology; experience working with victims of sexual abuse; experience relating to those with a mental illness, abuse or trauma; experience working in collaboration with other organisations to meet client needs; and have a minimum of 3 years’ case management experience.

This role will be dealing with sensitive content and must maintain high levels of confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

The position will be located in Blackburn, Melbourne and will require interstate travel.
