Applications are invited from suitably qualified and committed and experienced child care professionals to fulfill the temporary (Parental Leave) full time position of Before and After School Care and Vacation Care (Kids Club) Coordinator in our School.

Job Requirements:

Applicants need to be Christians of Protestant/Evangelical persuasion, who are active in their own churches and whole heartedly subscribe to the School’s Educational Creed as found on our website under Our School, Educational Creed.
This role will suit a vibrant, enthusiastic and qualified child care professional with a minimum of Diploma level qualifications, and extensive experience in the child care industry. The Kids Club Coordinator needs to be able to demonstrate initiative and display leadership as well as being a team player.
Our Before and After School Care programme operates Monday to Friday during school term times only, from 6:30am to 8:45am and 2:45pm to 6:30pm. As we also operate a vacation care programme it is expected that this position would work the same amount of hours per week during the school vacation periods.
The position of Kids Club Coordinator is classified under the NSW Christian Schools General Staff Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2017-2019 as a Preschool/Childcare services Grade 6 position and is paid at Level 8 Step 1.
All key responsibilities are based on the National Law and Regulations, the Principles, Practices and Outcomes detailed in the Early Years Learning Framework, and the NQF Quality Areas, Standards and Elements. All educators are expected to have a working knowledge of these documents as well as a working knowledge of the Child Care Management System.
