About the program
Wesley Conference and Recreation Services operates the following programs: 
• Wesley Conference Centre in Sydney’s CBD
• Wesley Vision Valley campsite at Arcadia
• Wesley Catering
• Wesley Urban Expeditions
• Wesley Out of School Hours Care at Quakers Hill, Seven Hills West, Riverstone
• Wesley Operation Hope

About the role
Providing support for operations, programs, management and staff to comply with relevant internal and external quality, risk and compliance requirements.

The QRC Specialist is responsible for:
• Supporting accreditation and compliance requirements
• Supporting Wesley Conferences and Recreation service delivery team
• Conducting internal audits and leading preparation for external audits
• Supporting management to drive continuous improvement initiatives based on the outcomes of client feedback and audit results
• Working with Wesley Mission corporate QRC team to improve and implement governance initiatives, risk management, business continuity and WHS frameworks

Job Requirements:

Essential criteria
• qualification/s in a relevant tertiary discipline
• minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience working in a related quality, risk and compliance position, with demonstrable knowledge and experience in working with:
o risk management, governance, business continuity and WHS frameworks
o internal and external audit programs
o developing and reviewing policies and procedures
o managing internal and external stakeholders to achieve set objectives
• understanding of ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, Education and Care Services National Law, and Regulations
• outstanding interpersonal skills, attention to detail, flexible, patient and able to relate well to all levels of society that Wesley Mission interacts with
• proven organisational skills, ability to multitask, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines

Desirable criteria
• experience in managing quality, risk and compliance requirements within a diverse community services related organisation
• experience with continuous improvement, including identification, proposal, implementation and measurement of improvement initiatives
• advanced level of analysis and problem-solving ability, particularly in relation to risk identification, mitigation and control
• experience in developing, implementing and maintaining business performance indicators
• knowledge of Child Protection and Ombudsman legislation

Remuneration
Salary and employment conditions are negotiated with generous salary packaging available.
