About the role
Responsible for contextualising and delivering SU QLD’s strategy in ministry and programs in your region, you will report to the Director of Field Operations providing spiritual, strategic and team leadership to your regions employees and volunteers, while developing and maintaining key relationship within its communities. You will lead by example through a Christ centered life and ensure delivery of the strategic annual objectives for your region.
On a weekly basis this may include:
  • supporting your Field Development Managers and key volunteers to deliver programs and ministry,
  • innovation and birthing new ministry,
  • coaching, training and leadership development of Field Development Managers, camp directors and leaders,
  • planning and coordination of the team and issues management, ensuring excellent service delivery,
  • networking and connecting with key external stakeholders including church leaders, community leaders, regional government personnel and key volunteers and,
  • financial management of your region.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Demonstrated experience in effective communication skills with various internal and external stakeholders including, influencing, negotiation and relationship building
  • Prior experience managing a team, preferably other leaders
  • Experience in complex environments with numerous stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and meeting objectives
  • Demonstrated experience in growing and initiating new programs or ministries
  • Sound computer skills
