Wesley Brighter Futures

• part-time position (Tuesday Thursday Friday) 9am -5pm
• fixed term Maternity leave contract June 2018 – May 2019
• based in Blacktown

About the program
Wesley Mission has a real mission – to reach out to a community with real needs. Through witness, work & with the help of supporters we can turn lives around for good. As part of Wesley’s Family and Community Services group, the Brighter Futures program provides targeted support to vulnerable families with children aged 0-8 years to prevent them from entering or escalating into the child protection system.

Brighter Futures Blacktown is currently seeking the services of:
• Program Administrator (Blacktown) Part Time (Tuesdays, Thursdays, Friday)
• Maternity leave contact June 2018- May 2019

The Brighter Futures Early Intervention Program is funded by NSW Family and Community Services and is a voluntary, child focused program.  Brighter Futures aims to promote strong, functional and well supported families within the community. This is a dynamic and challenging opportunity for an experienced professional to join a committed team’s that is well respected in the sector.

Job Requirements:

Essential criteria
• proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word. Excel, and Outlook
• demonstrated experience in Office administration and data collation
• ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organisation
• excellent verbal and written communication skills
• ability to take initiative and work unsupervised
• self-motivated with the demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and attention to detail
• ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
• sound organisational skills

Desirable criteria
• experience in the community services sector
• experience working with Project Teams

Salary and conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Social, Community, Home care and Disability Service Industry award level 4, plus superannuation and salary packaging.
