About the role

The Early Childhood teacher is responsible for quality teaching and learning in a mixed level classroom of 3 to 5 year olds that results in success for every student.

This role would suit an experienced Christian Early Childhood teacher who would appreciate the challenge of assisting the Principal to grow a thriving and dynamic Early Childhood Centre.

This full time position commences in Term 2, 2018.

About you:

  • You have a commitment to the Vision of Australian Christian College and a vibrant Christian faith.

  • You have an ACEQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching qualification.

  • You have previous experience in applying the Western Australian Kindergarten Guidelines, Early Years Learning Framework and Western Australian Curriculum as the basis for the development of an effective teaching-learning program.

  • You have participated in developing Quality Improvement Plans based on the National Quality Standards.

  • You have a positive attitude and growth mindset.

  • You can engage students with authentic teaching and visible learning to ensure success for all.

  • You demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with both students, parents and staff to ensure the best learning outcomes.

  • You’re confident in integrating ICT into teaching and learning.

  • You’re willing to participation in the school's co-curricular program.

  • You have experience, or an understanding of, Diana Rigg literacy material and her approaches to teaching.
