Leading The Way (LTW) with Dr. Michael Youssef is a Christian Broadcast Ministry committed to the proclamation of the whole counsel of God. This global mission is fulfilled by utilising every available technology (including radio, television, satellite, Internet, social media and mobile handheld devices) and by partnering with local follow up teams.
During the past 15 years, LTW’s local ministry in Australia based in Sydney, CBD has grown significantly in media coverage, mission partnerships, funding and ministry impact, while new growth opportunities are emerging in the wider Asia-Pacific region.  In order to sustain continuing growth and develop new opportunities, LTW wish to recruit a talented and mission-minded Development Manager now.  This challenging role reports to the Regional Director Australia & New Zealand

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with the Regional Director formulate and implement a strategic, biblically based, donor-based development program and goals and will be responsible for expanding LTW Australia’s Database, donor constituency and fundraising activities
  • Oversee the General and Mid-range Donor program,
  • Identification, cultivation and solicitation of Bequests, and planned giving Prospects,
  • Develop and maintain a consistent development division plan in line with the overall  Annual Operating Plan objectives and
  • Be the key driver of twice Annual Gift Challenge projects.
Selection Criteria and Personal Qualities:
  • An active and committed follower of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour
  • Personal qualities of humility, honesty, integrity and credibility
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Communications, Marketing or related subjects
  • A minimum of three years of demonstrated successful experience in Development/Fundraising position.
  • Some understanding and oversight of call centre operations preferred
  • A polished and professional manner with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with existing and new donors
  • Ability to drive major donor and bequest programs – including promotion and follow-up
  • Demonstrated relationship management and negotiation skills with external stakeholders
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills
  • Organised; effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Financially astute; ability to influence others in financial matters
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office and use of a CRM Database
  • The willingness to travel interstate and to New Zealand from time to time
  • Must be in agreement with LTW’s Statement of Faith (Copy available upon request)
  • A team player who is prepared to engage in all kinds of tasks that may be required in a small office.
