Fitting in to a new Culture
In times of uncertainty the organisation that you work for may be more important than the job you do.
Many people will move to a new job without considering how they may fit into a new working culture. Those who say they love their job, usually love it not because of what they do but who they do it for.
Think about questions you can ask at an interview that can tell you about an organisations culture, for example; How did this position become available? What is your staff turnover rate? Why do people enjoy working here? also make sure you meet the people you will be working with before you take the job. |
